Street Work

Teams of JAC volunteers can be seen out on the streets each week in Woodley, Earley, Winnersh, Wokingham, Whitley, Woosehill, New Town and Crowthorne.  Red coats can also be seen at school gates on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons in Woodley.

If you happen to bump into the Wokingham team on a Friday night, you are likely to be offered a sticker to wear.  The sticker ministry has proved very popular with the young people, and the team have been approached by people in their twenties who still have the stickers they were given in their teens!!

On the other hand, if you are in Crowthorne on a Friday/Saturday, you will almost certainly be offered a cup of hot chocolate and a doughnut!

The JAC vans, affectionately known by staff as 'the camels', are also a regular feature in and around the area.  Each vehicle has televisions, X-boxes and Play Stations which are very popular with young people.

The sports cage is a popular piece of equipment among young people and is often seen at local community fun days and on the detached sessions.
