St Sebastians, Wokingham gets creative with Stage-Fright during last week of summer holidays

The youth worker at St Sebastians, Debbie Harris, has organised an action packed arts-based summer holiday club at St Sebastians Church, Wokingham from Tuesday 30th August until Friday 2nd September for children in Years 7-9 costing only £5 for four afternoons.  The afternoon club, called Create is being run in collaboration with Stage-Fright, the local Wokingham based Christian youth theatre group.  

There will be two workshops to choose from - one focusing on Theatre lead by Stage-Fright, and the other on Art lead by St Sebastians.  Both workshops will run from 2-5pm.  The young people involved will produce original drama and art, which will be showcased at the Sunday morning Youth Service on September 4th at St Sebastians Church, Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham.

“Costing only £5 for the 4 days, this is an amazing price for young people to get involved in some creative fun,” explained Debbie Harris.  “We were very fortunate to receive funding from Faith in the Community, Wokingham, thus making it really good value for local people.”
